biomed Dr. Wieser GmbH, short BIOMED, is an R&D organisation dedicated to the development of:

• optic- and optoelectronic systems
• components for analytic systems (quadrupols, octopols)
• measurement equipments for biomechanics
• development and series production of high grade, Halogen lamp or LED-based ABS-Photometer-modules , mainly for diagnostic instruments and preferably in the field of medical and laboratory applications.

Starting in 1994 with a basic Absorbance Photometer module, BIOMED meanwhile realised a braod spectrum of customized OEM modules, for a number of wellknown diagnostic companies.

The proof of our system is based on close to 2000 installed, custom designed modules.

The biggest breakthrough in technology could be achieved by implementing latest LEDs , combined with unique signal modulation technology for a full elimination of ambient light influence.

BIOMED offers no stardard products.

BIOMED offers a freely customizeable, standard concept!

Following your specifications, we develop and manufacture components and/or complete measuring instruments for applications in the Biomechanical and Biomedical Technology field:

• Breadboards and Prototypes
• Small series production
• for bigger series, we can arrange the transition to one of our production partners
• during development phase we can support you in getting approvals, incl. testing in our EMV laboratory.
